Bryan Ashley, a leading manufacturer of high-end custom hospitality furniture, is seeking a Furniture Project Developer/Estimator to join our team.   The qualified individual will be responsible for estimating multiple custom projects from initial request to quote.

Essential Functions: 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Some examples of work this role is involved in:
    • Receive, analyze and prepare quote requests by creating furniture specification packages per category for factory review and costing.
    • Create quotes based on customer supplied information using Bryan Ashley furniture standards
    • Work with Bryan Ashley Asian team and factories to get accurate and complete costs for quotes.  Assist in answering any questions that either may have during review of the quote.
    • Create and maintain quote files for the customer quote. 
    • Provide product assistance to customers - Options for value engineering, discussions on materials and educating on hospitality grade standards
    • Work with sales reps during the quote process
    • Participate in project hand off with other internal teams upon order receipt
  • High sense of urgency, customer focus, and thoroughness in all work assignments required to meet client deadlines and expectations


Essential Skills 

  • Time management skills, organization, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with multiple customer quotes concurrently in a fast paced environment
  • Must have a positive customer focused attitude with strong communication skills (written and verbal)



  • Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat is required
  • Ability to read furniture and architectural drawings is required
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks or any ERP system is a plus 
  • Furniture construction, design and materials knowledge is a plus
  • Associates degree in Business or Design preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in furniture design, custom furniture or architectural millwork is required.
