Manufacturing Management
Members of the Management team, consisting of Plant Managers, Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors, will be responsible for planning, organization, direction, control and review of all staff support activities utilized in the daily production of quality product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Manage the daily manufacturing operations
- Reach defined goals and maintain our tradition of quality
- Hire, train, and mentor staff and all plant personnel
- Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives, such as 6S and lean manufacturing
- Lead team of manufacturing personnel in a fast-paced environment
- Analyze daily reports and utilize them to improve efficiency
- Maintain timely and accurate communications with internal and external customer service personnel
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to maintain a profitable, productive facility, while successfully managing expectations
- Previous Oracle experience preferred
- Record of maintaining high-quality standards for the organization
- 2-4 years previous management experience in wood manufacturing industry
- High attention to detail
- People-oriented with ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and make sound decisions
