Test Lab Trainee

OFS is currently seeking candidates to fill the position of Test Lab Trainee.  The Test Lab Trainee will perform assigned duties under direction of experienced personnel, to gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to a management position.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to drive outstanding results
• Plan and execute production test projects
• Participate in the revision process of BIFMA standards and the creation of any new standards
• Learn and implement ANSI/BIFMA testing procedures and standards 
• Manage and develop Test Lab team
• Assist Central Quality, Engineering, manufacturing, and Purchasing with maintaining quality components and products
• Maintain Test Lab ISO 17025 Accreditation

Qualifications

• Ability to work/communicate well with all levels of the organization
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Thorough understanding of BIFMA’s processes/procedures
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities in order to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suites
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented
