We are looking for individuals with experience as healthcare sales leaders and a strong track record of driving sales growth in the healthcare sector. They shall be experienced in leading and managing a high-performing sales team and can forge strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. The candidate should have an innovative mindset that can adapt to evolving market conditions.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Sales

  • Strategize and Execute: Develop and implement strategies to boost the company's healthcare sales.
  • Increase Healthcare sales through strategy, active coaching, participation (with a strong emphasis on face-to-face sales calls with field sales staff), and enhanced awareness with:
    • National Accounts:  Collaborate with National Account Directors to grow nationwide health system/IDN annuity sales
    • Sales Leadership: Lead joint sales calls and provide leadership to Healthcare Specialists.
    • GPO Partnerships: Coordinate effectively with project managers and field teams for GPO partnerships.
    • Territory Management: Support all sales territories, representatives, and selected dealers.
    • A+D Community: Engage heavily with the A+D Community to drive healthcare specifications and involvement.
    • End User Engagement: Foster relationships with health systems, hospitals, and related entities.
    • RFP Best Practices: Develop and standardize best practices for RFP responses.
    • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and communicate sales performance nationally and regionally.
    • Collaboration: Partner with the VP of Healthcare to align on sales, marketing, and product development goals.
    • Trade Shows: Coordinate sales activities and representation at relevant trade shows.

 

Team Management

  • Direct Reports: Oversee National Account Directors.
  • Dotted Line Support: Support the Contract Administrator and Regional Healthcare Specialists.
  • Business Planning: Establish and implement a yearly business plan.
  • Training: Continuously train Healthcare Specialists and share best practices.
  • Specialty Markets Team: Partner with the Specialty Markets team and National Account Directors to lead successful client strategies, solve problems, and provide field expertise.

Requirements: 

  • Previous success in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in presentations, negotiations, industry networking, and RFP responses.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills to manage resources efficiently.
  • Ability to identify and monitor healthcare trends, competitors, and sales leads.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 70% of the time.
  • Strong time management skills to work independently and help others prioritize.
  • Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient with Adobe, Foxit, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of the healthcare market and landscape, including:
    • People, roles, and responsibilities
    • Processes
    • Products
    • Competition
    • Trends
