OFS is currently seeking candidates to fill a Summer Internship role within the Information Technologies (IT) department.  The internship program is designed to give individuals work related experience and is targeted for those pursuing a career within information technology.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of completed study.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Technology Developer Intern reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. A Technology Developer will be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. This resource should be familiar with relational databases, programming concepts, client-server concepts, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Must be able to work individually and in a team environment
  • Self-starter who can independently adapt to and understand various technologies
  • Strong communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Familiar with Relational Database concepts (Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server are a plus)
  • Programming skills (PHP, Javascript, HTML, SQL, PL/SQL, TSQL)
  • Position located in Huntingburg, IN-no remote work option
