The project team carefully refurbished and restored its Romanesque Revival exterior architecture and Art Deco interiors. Former classrooms are now conference and meeting spaces, the dining hall is an open-kitchen restaurant, and the tiny dorm rooms once occupied by seminary students were far too small for visitors. Each of the 84 new guestrooms combines two old spaces, so hallways are lined with stately wood panels in place of half the doors.
