Sewing Specialist

Carolina, a known and respected manufacturer of healthcare furniture, is seeking skilled, energetic, and eager individuals to fill several upholstery sewing specialist openings.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a strong desire to contribute to our mission of creating high-quality products.  We welcome experienced sewers but have a top-notch training program available too.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric pieces together according to patterns and instructions
• Ability to work with a wide variety of upholstery fabrics including vinyl and leather
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines to ensure they are in good working condition

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

   

Requirements:

• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and knowledge of different sewing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret sewing patterns and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
