Carolina, a division of OFS, is seeking Cutting Supervisor for their seating division. Attention to detail, a sense of urgency and good work ethic are keys to success in this role. As a key member of the seating team, this individual will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce policies, procedures and safety guidelines
- Oversee group of 10 to 15 associates
- Manage production schedules to meet deadlines
- Improve production efficiencies and quality
- Implement continuous improvement activities for production employees
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS A PLUS
- Experience with Lectra or Gerber CNC helpful
- Previous cutting/upholstery/sewing experience preferred
- Prior leadership skills a must
